On August 27, after weeks of action, emails, petitions, and more from SEIU 1021 members and San Francisco's labor community, the Budget and Appropriations Committee passed a new two-year budget proposal that will protect public services and avoid layoffs.

While this budget proposal funds services in year one, we now all have a responsibility to make sure San Francisco is able to bring in additional revenue so we can avoid layoffs and cuts in year two of this budget. If we don't, the impacts could be immediate and devastating.

There are a number of revenue measures on the ballot this year that will provide critical revenue to invest in public services. To avoid dangerous and harmful cuts and layoffs, we must help get out the vote to pass Propositions F, L, and 15.

Will you commit to help get out the vote for the revenue measures San Francisco needs to protect public services in November?
