July 2020

ASU delegates and officials have continued to engage with Bethany to resolve the outstanding issues for your new Enterprise Agreement (EA). In the most recent exchanges purchased leave has been discussed in the context of bargaining. It has also come up due to the recent responses from Bethany to members’ applications to access purchased leave for the year ahead.

Members have reported that many purchased leave applications have been denied by Bethany – either partially or in full. The ASU wants to hear from any Bethany staff that have lodged an application, like a mini-audit, to help inform the next steps the union will take, in the EA process

Your responses will be confidential, and no identifying information will be shared beyond the union office.
