Consent is a vital aspect of our daily lives, but it is not something we often talk about. Having open conversations about consent with our loved ones is an important cornerstone for healthy relationships and preventing sexual assault. We understand talking about consent can be a difficult topic, but we are here to help! Wellspring would like to invite parents and guardians of graduating seniors going to college this fall to “Talking about Consent”.
“Talking about Consent” allows participants to learn from each other and Wellspring staff about different ways to bring up and discuss a topic we often ignore. Workshops like this are great ways to learn something new, build connections with others, and continue the fight to end relationship and sexual abuse in our community.
