With COVID-19 and the continuing pandemic effects has come an increase people struggling with mental health and substance use problems in MN. It is more important than ever to have an effective system to address mental health and substance abuse Strategic Consulting and Coaching has been contracted by MN Department of Human Services  to conduct community outreach and stakeholder research on Minnesota’s mental health crisis response system.

Project Goals:

·       Increase DHS’ overall understanding of MN’s current mental health crisis response models so we know what is working now, and what is not working.

·       Identify the current barriers to operating a sustainable and culturally inclusive service and expanding crisis response and co-responder services

·       Identify the elements that affect access to service, outcomes of services and identify best practices.

·       Problem-solve and recommend solutions to identified barriers for providing or expanding effective crisis response services.

·       Learn more about the co-responder mobile crisis team response

To meet these objectives, we want to hear from stakeholders like you to provide input to help improve MN mental health crisis services. This survey is part of our effort to gather information. We would really appreciate your time in completing it. It will take between 15 and 30 minutes, depending upon how much time is spent on open-ended questions.

All responses are confidential, and no individual identifying information is requested. Responses will be aggregated and summarized for a final report. Some individual quotes may be used, but will not be attributed to any specific organization or individual.
