Are you interested in a working vacation on St. John in the Virgin Islands?
The Friends of Virgin Islands National Park is seeking applicants for our Volunteer Trail Crew November 2021 through May 2022. The Volunteer Trail Crew's scope of work includes trails maintenance, clearing of historical sites, native tree planting projects, invasive species removal, and trash/debris removal.

Volunteers are expected to donate a minimum of 4 days of labor in exchange for 7 nights of accommodation at our campground at Cinnamon Bay. We ask for a $100 donation per week. The minimum time commitment is 1 week and the maximum is 6 weeks. 

Volunteers work from 8am to 2pm. Close-toed shoes, a day pack, sun protection, long pants, and the capacity to carry a minimum of 3 liters of water are required. Airfare and food expenses not included.

The volunteer trails program runs from November 2021 to mid-May 2022 and the minimum time commitment is one week. Volunteers generally work six hour days, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Wednesday and Saturday are off days.
