The DFW Grocers Association is pleased to be able to present scholarships for the 2020‐2021 school year. This association and its members have given more than $276,000.00 in scholarships over the past 26 years.
Children and grandchildren of fulltime employees and employees of current members of DFW Grocers Association are eligible to apply for these scholarships.
For regional or national companies to be eligible, the employee must be employed by a store or branch within the DFW Grocers Association region, as listed in table below.
High school seniors, adults returning to school, and students already enrolled in college or graduate school are eligible, as are students who have won DFW Grocers Association scholarships in the past (up to a maximum of four awards per student).
The scholarships will be paid to the colleges selected by the winners and must be used for tuition, fees, books, and housing expenses. Scholarship winners must carry a minimum of 12 hours. The scholarship will be divided into two installments (Fall 2020 and Spring 2021) and paid only on semesters attended.

Complete application 500 word minimum essay on why you deserve the scholarship and your career plans. Provide 2 letters of reference from persons whom are not related to you. (ie; employer, educator, business person) Include ALL transcripts from any high schools, colleges, or universities attended.
