Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV): A traditional gas engine paired with an electric battery pack to provide incresed fuel economy over the standalone gas engine. Does NOT require plugging into an electrical outlet for charging
Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle(PHEV : A plug-in hybrid adds an electric motor & larger electric battery pack than a HEV. The plug-in battery on a PHEV enables you to drive in EV-only mode until the battery is discharged at which time the gas engine kicks in and operates as a hybrid electric. This provides higher fuel economy tha. Requires plugging into an electric outlet for charging to achive maximum fuel economy. Driving range is limited only by access to gasoline stations just like a traditional gas engine
Full Battery Electric Vechicle (BEV) A full electric powertrain that runs exclusively on electricity and requires plugging into an electric outlet to charge. These have no gasoline engine, so driving range is limited by the capacity of the battery.

25.Now, I'd like you to think about if you had the opportunity to tell a designer of your vehicle exactly what you would like them to change. Thinking about the vehicle you drive today, please tell us about one feature that wish that the manufacturer would change and why. Please be as detailed as possible.
26.This project is very unique. This is a 2 phase project. Not everyone will participate in Phase 2, but we need your commitment that if picked you are willing to do so. The groups re being held at Hallways Facility in King of Prussia. PLEASE NOTE: You are required to bring your confirmaion lettr, insurance card or registration, your drivers license, and glasses if you need them. This is because you will be driving differnt vehicles. Phase 1 will last 2.5 hours, and you will be compensated $250. Phase 2 (if selected) will last 1.5 hours, and compensation for that phase is $150. Phase 1 is being scheduled from Sept. 8th-13th. Phase 2 if selected will be Sept 14-15. Are you willing and able to commit and participate in both phases?
