2018 Southern Regional Grants Conference Presenters Needed

The 2018 Southern Regional Grants Conference Committee is currently seeking qualified speakers for the event on Wednesday & Thursday, April 18-19, 2018, at the Morrow Conference Center at Southlake Mall in Morrow, Georgia. (http://www.morrowcenter.com/)

Workshops will be held concurrently (3 tracks each session) and last 1 hour and 15 minutes each.

To be considered as a speaker at the conference, please complete this survey in full (10 questions) by November 17, 2017. You will be notified before December 20, 2017, if selected as a conference presenter.

Submitting this application does not guarantee you a spot in the workshop lineup. Workshops will be selected based on needed topics and the ability to provide a diverse set of speakers and presentations.

While we are always looking for the typical introduction to grant writing, research, and management courses, we are also looking for workshops that cover the following topics:
-grant consulting
-nonprofit management
-particular grant application requirements (needs statement, evaluation plan, answering the sustainability question, etc)
-a diversified portfolio, raising money beyond grants (social enterprise, earned income, etc.)
-state and/or national advocacy for our causes
-grants for specific niches (community and technical colleges, public health, rural communities, faith-based organizations, affordable/workforce housing, etc.)
-collaborations - the pros and cons

Please don't feel limited by this list. We appreciate creative topics and ideas. Also, don't feel the traditional PowerPoint/lecture style is the only option. We like hands on activities and interactive presentations.

All selected presenters will be given a $50 discount at the time of  your registration. All conference attendees must register and pay for the conference. As a speaker, if you do want to attend the full conference, you do have the option attend during your presentation time slot only, with no obligation to register for the rest of the conference.
