This page describes this survey

This survey is being conducted by the Centre for Business Information Ethics at Meiji University and their research partners, funded by the CIGREF Foundation. The purpose of the survey is to gather data about how people deal with digital information of a broad range of types, including information they generate themselves (their own photos, public writing such as Wikipedia contributions) and information they obtain from elsewhere (from friends, strangers and professional producers). Analysis of the survey results will be available from the Centre website once complete.
If you take our survey, please be as honest as you can. Any question that you do not understand or do not wish to answer can be left blank, apart from two questions: your age and self-evaluation of your level of expertise with computers. These two questions require answers because one of the main goals of our research is to identify any differences between people's answers dependent on those two categories.
