GENERAL PILOT INFORMATION:
Thank you for your willingness to participate in this pilot of the Design & Development Module Pilot!
The pilot goals are to:
1) Perfect content: ensure member and stakeholder feedback is incorporated into the final DDM
2) Improve data: include priority materials and manufacturing processes in the tool sooner rather than later
3) Achieve maximum usability: ensure that the tools are easy to use and navigate, and confirm that they have the right look and feel
A few important things to note about this pilot:
1) The content being pilot tested here is in draft form only. The final version of DDM and MSI will be developed and released in 2016, based on feedback received from SAC members and stakeholders during this pilot.
2) This pilot tool is limited in functionality and does not include integrations with company systems, import/export functionality, an MSI data submission process, or an MSI Data Explorer. Those will be released in 2016.
3) All pilot feedback must be received by March 1st in order to be included in the development of the final tools.
What to focus on:
We would love for you to test and provide feedback on all parts of the tool! However, if you need to prioritize, we recommend focusing on the following:
1) Designers and developers: focus on product scoring, benchmarking and analytics. We want to know if the content is useful and what you are learning. We also want to know if it is easy or difficult to use and understand.
2) Manufacturers: focus on material customization functionality. We want to make sure the organization of material categories and processes makes sense, if the scores are useful, and if useful measurements are being captured correctly.
3) Other stakeholders: focus on the purpose of the tool and whether or not it helps Higg represent the best in environmental measurement in the supply chain
