The Bronx Workforce1 is working with the organizations Children of Promise and Communilife that are currently hiring!

Children of Promise:
Children of Promise, NYC (CPNYC) is a non-profit organization that provides a year-round, unique, integrated academic and enrichment after-school and summer program service model that meets the distinctive needs of children with incarcerated parent(s). CPNYC’s mission is to embrace and empower the children of incarcerated parents to break the cycle of intergenerational involvement in the criminal justice system through guidance, support, and access to the necessary resources to effectively develop leadership skills, form positive social relationships and enhance academic performance.

Human Resource manager: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Human Resources department, as well as, execute all initiatives implemented by the HR Director. The HR Manager will manage all administrative functions of the HR department, specialize in two more functions of the HR profession, as outlined by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and under the supervision of the HR Director will gain experience in the other areas. The HR Manager will uphold and enforce all policies, procedures, and common practices of Children of Promise, NYC.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree required
-Experience in SHRM preferred

Program Director: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
The After-School Program Director will assist in leading and operating a comprehensive afterschool program for children throughout the school year, from the end of the school day to 6pm daily. The Program Director will also be responsible for directing the development and implementation of age and grade appropriate curriculum for our after school and summer programs.

Qualifications:
-2 years of experience in an Administrative role
-Bilingual is a must
-Bachelors Degree required

Counselor: $16-19.50 (hourly)
Implement the CPNYC curriculum, helping school age children improve literacy competencies, values, and physical fitness in an activity-based environment Assist senior counselor with planning and creating innovative age appropriate activities Develop lesson plans to conduct them daily; read, tell stories, lead songs and games Help maintain enrollment and daily attendance records Assist children with homework and guide students in their academic growth Other job-related duties as described in job description Other duties as assigned.

-1-year experience in childcare
