An Age Friendly Strategy contains priorities for making our County a better place to grow old in, by improving a range of services and supports to enable people to live healthy and active lives.   In developing priorities for the next 5 years, we want to consult with as many Groups and individuals as possible and would appreciate if you could take 15 minutes or so to complete this survey.  

Why is it important?
-        Because our population is ageing and we need to plan and prepare our services
-        Because one-third of older people have a disability
-        Because when we focus on catering for older people, we automatically cater for everybody.
 
What will we do with this information?
-        Use it to design places and spaces that work for people as they age
-        Use it to shape supports and services across all Agencies in the County
-        Use it to fund initiatives which improve individual and community wellbeing
