Events of the year | Événements de l'année

The purpose of this survey is to determine the national event of the year in Road, Mountain Bike, Track, BMX, Paracycling and Cyclocross during the period of October 1st 2017 to October 1st 2018. To be awarded event of the year, the organization of the race must be in good financial standing with the cycling associations involved with the race.
Please consider the following in your decision process
- Quality of organization (registration, timing, award ceremony, results, etc)
- Quality of course / track
- Visibility through media

2018 Event of the Year winners will be determined by an equal proportion of public voting (this survey) and evaluation of the review of the following criteria by relevant staff & committees:
- Communication with Stakeholders
- Event Promotion
- Event Presentation & Execution
- Organizing & Planning

* Please note that some of the Cyclocross and Track event of the year nominees are found in the 2017 calendar to match the eligibility period

L'objectif de ce sondage est de déterminer l'événement national de l'année en Route, Vélo de montagne, Piste, BMX, Paracyclisme et Cyclocross ayant eu lieu entre le 1er octobre 2017 et le 1 octobre 2018. Pour être retenus, les événements doivent être en bon terme financier avec les associations cyclistes impliquées

- Visibilité médiatique

L'événement de l'année en 2018 sera déterminé par une proportion égale du vote du public (ce sondage) et l'évaluation des critères suivants par les employés de Cyclisme Canada et les comités concernés.
