Hamilton Discovery Centre ~ Public Engagement Survey

The Hamilton Public Library, in collaboration with the City of Hamilton’s Indigenous Relations Division, has hired Lord Cultural Resources, a Toronto-based international museum and cultural consulting firm. Lord has been engaged to facilitate the Conceptual Planning phase of reimagining the currently underutilized Discovery Centre, with the goal of building a multifunctional space. The newly redesigned Discovery Centre will include: a public library branch, an Indigenous community gathering space, a cultural exhibition space, a café, visitor amenities, and perhaps more.

As part of our public consultations, we are seeking input through this survey. The purpose is to gain an understanding of the thoughts and needs of our community and learn how the new Discovery Centre can best serve the Hamilton region. The results will inform the ongoing Conceptual Planning phase of work as well as the larger redevelopment project.
