The Office of the D.C. Auditor (ODCA), whose mission is “to support the Council of the District of Columbia by making sound recommendations that improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability of the District government,” is reviewing suicide awareness and prevention policies and practices in District schools.

Your responses to this survey are confidential; you will remain anonymous unless you choose to provide contact information at the end of the survey.  Only ODCA has access to the Survey Monkey account being used to administer the survey.

Individual responses will not be shared outside of ODCA; aggregated response data will be in our public report, which will include analysis and recommendations for improving suicide awareness and prevention in schools.

ODCA will not publish any information that references a specific school.

You can help us better understand the nature of your role and duties as clinicians and any barriers to effectiveness you face. Your responses will inform our research and analysis and help us: (1) make actionable recommendations to the Mayor and the D.C. Council for improving mental health services students receive in school, (2) inform public dialogue on this important subject, and (3) provide clarity on your role within the schools and foster positive change.
