* There may be a photographer taking pictures at one or more meetings of the course. These pictures may end up being used on a web site or other promotional materials. Are you okay with this?

  • This is a participatory class, with a mix of lecture, conversation, and games, and exercises. You'll be expected to take part in these.
  • You are expected to try your best to attend all six classes. If you are not able to make a class, you'll be expected to let the instructor know in advance, if at all possible, and to get another participant to catch you up on missed material, homework, etc.
  • Participants will be expected to bring in one or two "personal cases" of real-world conversations, negotiations, or conflicts from their own lives to work on in class. More detail about this will be provided closer to the date, and during the class.
