Mass General PANS/PANDAS Program Closure

August 3, 2026, Mass General has announced that its formal PANS/PANDAS program will close effective January 1, 2027.

For more than a decade, this program and the clinicians who provided PANS/PANDAS care at Mass General have played an important role in the lives of children, young adults, and families.

We want to document that history, understand what patients are experiencing now, and hear from those who are concerned about what this closure means for the future of PANS/PANDAS care.

We want to hear about your experience, whether you received care recently or many years ago. We welcome responses from current or former Mass General PANS/PANDAS patients, parents, and caregivers, including those who are or were on the waitlist, as well as healthcare professionals, advocates, extended family members, community members, educators, researchers, and others who believe this closure has broader implications.
