Dear fellow community member,

Douglas County Libraries (DCL) has been blazing a trail and thriving in Douglas County for decades, largely due to the generous support, patronage and growth of the community. In 2016 alone, circulation reached well over 6.5 million items – that’s a staggering 20.76 items per Douglas County resident. The seven DCL locations served nearly 2 million visitors. That’s a 12% increase over visitation in 2007!

DCL is excited to respond to the community’s growth and demand for innovative new library spaces and services by launching a multi-year campaign to build and renovate libraries for its community. These efforts have already resulted in new branches within the Parker, Lone Tree, and Castle Pines communities. DCL is now in the initial phases to gather feedback on potential library renovations for the communities of Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch. To ensure that DCL hears from the community, it has partnered with Datum Advisors to create this community feedback survey. Your responses will remain anonymous.

The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete and covers what you might like to see in the updated branch, how you use (or do not use) the library currently, and how DCL could encourage your involvement in the future. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the survey, please contact Datum directly via email at

Thank you in advance for your participation and for contributing your voice in the creation of innovative library spaces! Click "next" to start the survey.

Thanks again!
