During this workshop, you’ll experience the joy of connecting through music while gaining a deeper understanding of the field of music therapy—what it is, how it works, and why it can make such a meaningful difference for teens in care.
What to Expect:12:00–12:30 PM – Enjoy light refreshments, mingle, and connect with others who share your passion for mental health and connection.
12:30–1:00 PM – Come together through music-based games like Who Sang It? and Guess the Tune!
1:00–2:00 PM – Learn about music therapy in a presentation exploring:
- What defines music therapy and the education behind it
- The different types of music therapy and what sessions can look like
- How music therapy supports teen emotional growth and healing
