Application - Extra Coach 2021/2022

Thank you for your interest in our Program. Please read through the requirements  to be an Extra Coach in Region 154:

Extra Coach Requirements 2021/2022 Season
  • At least 3-years coaching experience. Preferably in Region 154.
  • Must have completed the AYSO coaching certification equal to the age group you are applying for.
  • Must have at least a Regional referee certification.
  • Provide at least a 1-year commitment to the Program (August 2021 - July 2022).
  • Divisions boys and girls U09, U10 and U11: in lieu of a spring 2022 season, these three divisions will participate in the Player Development Initiative (spring academy for Extra ).
  • REQUIRED coaches meetings: 1) Welcome meeting (uniform orders and the upcoming season) June - 2021. 2) Section Extra meeting - August/September 2021. 3) Fall season wrap up - December 2021. 4) Extra tryouts - April 2022.
  • If your are selected as an Extra coach, you are ineligible to be a head coach of another team(s).
  • Divisions U11 and older must participate in the VIP Buddy program at least once during the fall 2021 season.
  • Represent Region 154 with dignity at all Regional events and at away games.
