Disaster Behavioral Health Community Survey

NBHP is a collaborative of 40+ mental health and substance use service providers that collectively serves more than 250,000 children and adults in the greater Houston area each year. During Hurricane Harvey, NBHP helped to coordinate the volunteer disaster behavioral health response at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Through this experience, NBHP identified several challenges and barriers to addressing survivors’ behavioral health needs.

With a generous grant from the Houston Endowment, NBHP has convened organizations to develop recommendations to improve Houston/Harris County's disaster behavioral health response. Your completion of this survey will assist us in promoting the strongest possible local behavioral health response for those affected by a disaster.
