Recent talks were about Hostas, Urban Gardens, Designing Shady Retreats, Plant Propagation, Botany for Gardeners

* 3. Demonstration Circus
Three or four members, situated at separate tables, give short, simultaneous, hands-on, demonstrations of gardening skills. Attendees switch tables during the meeting to participate in all the demonstrations. Some past skills shared were seed starting, garden haiku, making May wine, wiring bonsai, botanical watercolor, and making a garden notebook.

Members socialize and share stories about their favorite garden tools and implements, and humorous and perplexing garden stories and adventures

Recent video events were on Creating Meadows, Growing Dahlias, and Topiary artist Pearl Frye

* 6. Member talks about a specific area of knowledge, or aspect of their own garden, or trips to foreign or special gardens and places
Some past member talks were about garden insects, how to build a pergola, Bonsai Basics, Chinese gardens, garden design, Mt Everest wild flowers
