LYSD Consolidated Title Grant Survey - Title 1A, 1C, 2A, 3A, 4A, and Indian Ed. Title VI

ESEA Title Funding - Consultation & Feedback

The purpose of ESEA Title funding is to:

(1) provide supplemental support to raise the academic achievement of struggling learners, and (2) address the complex challenges that arise among students who live with disability, mobility problems, learning difficulties, poverty, transience and the need to learn English as a second language.

Federal funds are allocated through four statutory formulas that are based primarily on census poverty estimates and the cost of education in each state. More information is available

at  https://education.alaska.gov/ESEA.

LYSD student data from assessments show a high need for writing, math, and reading instruction.

To achieve the district's goals, we want to provide an opportunity for input regarding how the school district should use the funds to support our students.

Please complete the following survey and provide any feedback and suggestions you have. At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you would like to participate on the 2020-21 ESEA Consultation Committee.
