1. WE REQUEST YOUR HELP

Bayard, Inc. wishes to develop and launch a new subscription-based online resource for parents and families as a way of supporting them as well as the family ministry of the parish and/or Catholic school.

To create a resource that will be of value and benefit to you and your family, we know that we need to identify the issues that are important for you as a parent and for your family today as well as the types of resources that support your parish or school’s ministry.

We also realize that the “family” that we see in our parishes today is incredibly diverse. Families range from one or two children or more. Families are multicultural and multi-racial. The families in our parishes and schools include blended families, extended families and single parent families. Effective pastoral outreach is conscious of and responds to all the various family realities present in our parishes and schools.

As we begin to develop this digital resource, we need your help in identifying the resources that are important to you and your faith life. These resources will be primarily online as text, video, and audio, but also available in print where appropriate.

Your participation in this survey will help us craft the resources that are beneficial and valuable to you.

BAYARD, INC. WHO WE ARE

Bayard creates periodicals, books, worship and devotional resources, and formation materials to inform and inspire, to spread the Gospel, to explore the beauty of the Catholic faith, and to continue the Church’s rich tradition of dialogue.

You may already be familiar with us under our individual publication brands of Twenty Third Publications, Pflaum Publishing Group, and Creative Communications for the Parish. Catholic Digest, Living with Christ, Living Faith, Today's Catholic Teacher and Catechist magazines are some of our well-known resources.

Thank you for participating in this brief survey on the needs of parents and families and how the parish and school can support parents and families. It should take no longer than ten minutes.
