Conversations about weight questionnaire

Thank you very much for taking the time to think about this questionnaire. We’re working on a project for South Gloucestershire, Bristol and North Somerset councils about how people talk about weight in health, care and community settings. We would really like to hear about your personal experiences – these may be good or bad. We know that some people have had upsetting or unhelpful experiences, and we want to understand what happened and what could make things better.

We will use what people tell us to create an online resource for health and care workers. This resource will help staff have kinder, more respectful and more helpful conversations about weight.

This is not about blaming individual people or services. It is about learning what helps and what causes harm, so that future care feels more supportive. The aim is to improve people’s experiences of health and care services.
