Eye Care Disaster Relief Community Partner Contact Form

Following the devastation of Harvey in Houston, Prevent Blindness Texas joined the relief efforts to provide eye care services at the George R. Brown Convention Center and NRG Center. In partnership with the eye care community, Prevent Blindness Texas staff and volunteers continued to provide vision screenings and education to more than 500 adults, and helped to coordinate follow up eye care services including eye exams and eyeglasses in the Dallas and Houston areas.

During this time of need, we know it can be challening. We heard the stories of people leaving everything behind. For many, this included their eyeglasses.
