The Regional Chamber, in collaboration with ScaleCo, Huntington, and HBK will honor 20 family-owned businesses at the Valley’s inaugural Family-Owned Business Dinner, scheduled for March 11th at the Lake Club. This event is a continuation of the Family-Owned Business Program, an informative panel series that launched in 2021. The program is designed to help family businesses of all sizes and industries with succession planning, including maximizing value, understanding tax implications, and a myriad of other aspects during the transition of a business. The dinner will serve as a platform to showcase the successes and importance of family-owned businesses in our community.

Out of the 20 selected nominees one will be chosen for each category, electing five winners who will be announced at the dinner. The awards are designed to highlight a family-owned business or individual that has excelled in one of the five categories below. Submissions are due by January 21, 2022.

Eligible nominees must:
  • Be family-owned (with exception of the advocate award)
  • Operate in Trumbull, Mahoning, or Columbiana counties
  • Have a representative attend the dinner
The Categories are as follows:
