Minnesota's National Officer candidates (up to the final two candidates) will be chosen by a committee on February 27, 2021. The Committee will:

1) Review the Application and uploaded forms.

2) Read the Letters of Recommendation.

3) Administer the National Officer Candidate test given by MN FCCLA. Tests questions will be based on the National FCCLA website and website documents for content of the test. The test score must be 80% or higher to advance.

4) Review an FCCLA Resume prepared by the candidate.

5) Review the candidate's detailed Written Plan for Studying and Candidate Preparation.

NATIONAL CANDIDATE PROCESS
Two final candidates for National Candidates from Minnesota would be determined by a test, interview, speech, resume and application process in February 2021.
This national candidate selection process would be to have the two final candidates determined by a Committee with expertise in National candidates processes. 
The candidates for national officer would take a test with a cut score of 80%, do an interview, prepare a resume and show a plan for preparation to the committee.
The committee chooses up to two final candidates.
The two final candidates are notified and they move forward to do speeches, meet with voting delegates at State Conference. Voting Delegates from Chapters to vote "yes or no" on those two final candidates.
The committee also names an Alternate (unannounced) in the event of a need to replace or remove a finalist who is not making progress and following the schedule of studying, preparing and making progress toward the May National FCCLA Candidate Application deadline.
