SOES Learning Model Change Request

A continuous and consistent learning environment is best for student success. However, we understand that parents and students might have compelling reasons to seek a transition from one option to another, so we will provide opportunities to do so. Please understand, that when parents/students change their mind and make the transition request, it greatly affects scheduling and the number of teachers who are MSOL or Traditional.  In addition, months of preparation went into honoring requests that were placed over the summer.  
 
Beginning September 1, 2020, parents may request a transfer from one option to another.  Please be sure you are committing to this change. Constant change back and forth will not be honored. We will do all we can to honor the new Transition Request in a reasonable time and manner that works for the student and school. Please note, that as students transfer into a new learning model that classes are balanced to maintain class-size and safe and effective learning environments, students may experience future schedule changes as well. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
