2026 Great Lakes Legal Conference Scholarship Application

As in previous years, scholarships are being offered to attend the GLLC Conference. These scholarships are offered to bar association and section leaders and should assist member leaders in offsetting the cost of their attendance. The scholarship will cover the registration fee and a one-night credit to your hotel bill to cover the cost of one person for one night at the Grand Hotel. Applications must be received by Friday, April 10, 2026, to allow time for review and award determination by the Bar Leadership Scholarship Subcommittee. No extensions will be provided. Scholarship awards will focus on the following criteria:

· Demonstrated leadership potential by the bar association or section;

· Financial need of the bar association or section;

· Identified benefit for the bar association or section to attend the conference; and

· Outlined plan to share learnings upon return with the represented bar association or section.

Please note that a limited number of scholarships are available and are based on the highest need.

Notification of scholarship decisions will be provided by Monday, May 4, 2026. Should you have questions about applying for a scholarship, please contact Robin Eagleson at the State Bar of Michigan (517) 346-6333 or reagleson@mail.michbar.org.
