The chosen participant will receive:
  • A stipend of $3,000 USD to assist with travel and logistical arrangements.
  • Complimentary registration for GBCC 2027 (Global Breast Cancer Week 2027) on April 22-24, 2027, and an invitation to the Welcome Reception
  • A 5-day visit to a medical institution in Korea, hosted by a KBCS member at their institution.
Candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
  • Be an SSO Active member in good standing (2027 dues must be paid) to apply.
  • Be a breast surgical oncologist aged 45 years or younger
  • Be currently employed in the United States
  • Cannot have participated in a different global partner observership.
