2026 WASBO Custodian/Maintenance Professional of the Year Nomination Form

The purpose of the Custodian/Maintenance Professional of the Year Award is to recognize the outstanding contributions of those who are making a difference to their local school district, community, and the custodial and maintenance profession.

To nominate someone for Custodian/Maintenance Professional of the Year, please submit the following form. Qualities to consider when recognizing the nominee:
1. High Level of Trust
2. Attendance
3. Quality of Work
4. Identified as a Team Player
5. Self-Motivated
6. Ingenuity & Authenticity
7. Takes Ownership of the School/District
8. Connections in the School Community with Students, Staff, and Constituents
9. Leadership in the Schools/Profession
10. Advocate for the School District

11. Provides Excellent Customer Service

Nominations must be submitted before May 6, 2026.

The winner(s) of the Custodian/Maintenance Professional of the Year Award will be recognized at their regional Custodial & Maintenance Conference. In addition to a complimentary registration to their regional Custodial & Maintenance Conference, they will also be awarded a complimentary registration to the 2027 Facilities Management Conference.
