Thank you for your interest in Culminating Seminar, a required Community of Practice for the Step 3 Program Director Credential. This survey will help us determine your eligibility to participate in an upcoming section - September 28, 2023 - April 25, 2024 with an Introduction training Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 6:30-8:30PM.

Community of Practice Thursday evenings - time to be determined. Total Training Hours: 56.

Everyone who completes this survey will be contacted. If it is determined that you meet the eligibility criteria, you will receive the registration link. The cost of the seminar is $50.

Please note, you do not need to have experience as a program director to take Culminating Seminar. However, upon completion of the seminar you will not be eligible to submit your portfolio for final review and apply for Step 3 until you have at least 1 year of direct care experience in an early childhood or afterschool program, AND either 2 years of administrative experience as a Program Director, OR 3 years of supervised administrative practice.

By the end of the seminar participants will have completed: a resume, a current Individual Professional Development Plan, a professional philosophy statement, and documentation of evidence for 42 of the Vermont Program Director competencies within an electronic format (this equals 60% of a completed portfolio). Electronic portfolio software, training and design support will be provided.
