Presentation Format
All breakout sessions are 30, 60, or 75 minutes in length. They will occur on either Tuesday, March 14th or Wednesday, March 15th. After reviewing and selecting presentations, the Convening Committee will determine the best date and time for presentations in order to best serve both presenters and attendees. Audience size may vary from 20 to 50 people.

Criteria for Selection
All conference presentations must provide high quality professional development for one or more of the following stakeholders: teachers, counselors, administrators, teaching artists and/or arts education advocates. Presentations should meet the following criteria:

instead of giving overviews or promoting your program for purchase.
· Be aligned with the conference theme: Creative Schools for All: Collaboration Creates Change
· Demonstrate evidence-based innovative strategies, best practices, and strong program results

Presenters are encouraged to use interactive presentation styles to present their session.
The Convening Committee will review submissions and will notify presenters as to whether their proposal has been selected by December 16, 2016.
Presentation Agreements
· Registration Fee for presenters will be waived. All presenters must register to participate with the
convening to ensure a correct count of participants
· Arrange and pay for own travel and lodging
· Agree to present on the day assigned by the Convening Committee
· Provide an electronic copy of your handouts and/or PowerPoint by March 1, 2017. The handouts

and/or Power Point will be posted on createca.net; the Convening Committee will not print handouts
and/or PowerPoint for workshop attendees. Presenters are responsible for providing copies of
materials for their workshop.

· You will need to bring your own laptop computer or mobile device with a VGA output. If using a Mac,

please bring your adapter for the projector. There will be no speakers for the projector unless you
bring your own. Technical support will be available if help is needed.
