Copper Coast Council is developing a new Arts + Culture Strategy to help guide future investment, priorities and opportunities across the region.
This Strategy will explore how arts, culture contribute to:
- Local identity and pride
- Vibrant townships and public spaces
- Tourism and the visitor experience
- Wellbeing and community connection
- Opportunities for young people
- Economic development and liveability
When we talk about "arts and culture", we mean more than galleries and performances. We also mean festivals and events, music and creativity, community traditions, public art and public spaces, local stories and heritage, cultural tourism, creative-based businesses and makers, character and identity.
