Coosa Riverkeeper 2026 Summer Survey

The 2026 survey effort is designed to capture a broad cross-section of Coosa River users, including anglers, recreational users, and members of the general public.

While anglers remain an important focus, particularly those fishing at dams, surveys will be conducted across a variety of high-use public access points throughout the Coosa River system. These locations may include dams, boat ramps, fishing banks, parks, and other public access areas where individuals commonly fish or recreate.

This approach is intended to better understand how PFAS awareness, perceptions, and risk understanding vary across different user groups and levels of river engagement.

By completing the survey, participants will be entered into a drawing for a prize bag.
