To celebrate Virtual Engineering Day on February 20, Whitaker Center, in partnership with Connected Kids Community Classroom, are giving away STEM kits to participate in the programs.  There will be two programs on Engineering Day:

Saturday, February 20 at 10:00 a.m.   Let's Build a Bridge (Pre-K - Second Grade)
Saturday, February 20 at 11:00 a.m.    Let's Engineer a Bridge (Third - Sixth Grade)

You and your child will join a Whitaker Center educator LIVE on Whitaker Center's YouTube channel to learn all about engineering, work together to design different bridges, and examine their structure and form. (A recording of each program will be available afterward if individuals are not able to tune into the live session.)

Also, as part of the day's activities, you and your child can watch DREAM BIG ($3.99), a film that celebrates human ingenuity behind engineering marvels big and small, and reveals the heart that drives engineers to create better lives for people around the world.
