Welcome! Thank you for your interest in speaking at the American Gem Society’s annual Conclave!

Conclave RFPs are due August 9, 2019.

Conclave is known for exceptional learning in a relaxed, friendly, and open environment. Our event is designed so that attendees not only learn something new, but leave with action items they can implement in their businesses. Please help us provide new ways of learning that allow attendees to connect with one another, gain new insights, and leverage their key findings.

Session formats:
  • Hands-on learning
  • Panel discussions
  • Roundtables
  • Any non-standard deviations from “lecture and PowerPoint” teaching ideas and learning experiences are encouraged.
We are also dividing our content into “beginner,” "intermediate," and “advanced” streams to better enable our attendees to tailor to their learning levels. With that in mind, be sure to adjust your content for the right level of audience and designate it in the RFP.

Because Conclave is strictly an educational and networking event, it’s essential that in the spirit of learning, that PRESENTATIONS CANNOT BE SALES PITCHES. If you offer a product or service to the trade, please adjust your content appropriately to ensure it is educational, not promotional. If you are interested in purchasing a sponsorship or booth in the Networking Area in order to promote your brand and its products and/or services, please contact Matt Dadey, Senior Event Planner, at mdadey@ags.org or 866.805.6500 x1011.
