* 6. The reduced cost composting bin program is part of a grant funded program sponsored by the Washington Department of Ecology in cooperation with the Klickitat County Solid Waste Department. A requirement for the grant is for the Solid Waste Department to conduct follow-up surveys to each participant which will be done through email. Each household is limited to 1 composting bin through our program for the reduced fee.
