City of Georgetown Community Alerts and Notification Survey

In our ongoing effort to improve the community alerts and notification process, the City of Georgetown is asking our citizens to participate in this survey to help us refine our communications in a manner that works better for everyone.

The City of Georgetown is working to improve our efforts to reach all customers when time sensitive communication needs to be relayed. Examples of this would be an electric or water outage, road closures, boil water notices, etc.

Our goal is to reduce any delay in the timing between an event occurring and the affected customers being notified. When there is a delay in communication, phone lines are often inundated and customers are left without a clear understanding of how and why they are affected.

This new communication plan will be used to alert the community, so the community is encouraged to participate as much as possible throughout the process.

This survey is just the first opportunity for the community to help shape the plan. For updates, be sure to sign-up for the City's weekly email here.
