Do you know a local project that brings people together, helps them get active, or supports their wellbeing?
This award celebrates community initiatives that make a real difference, whether it’s a sports session, a walking group, a wellbeing workshop, or any activity that helps people feel healthier, happier, or more connected.
Who can be nominated?
A nomination is welcome if the initiative:
· Is based in Cheshire East.
· Has made a positive impact within the last 12 months (May 2025 - May 2026).
· Has contributed to health, wellbeing, sport, or physical activity.
· Project organisers must be aged 16 or older.
Please describe why this organisation or individual deserves the Community Initiative Award, including who they are, what they do, and the positive impact they have made within the last twelve months.
You may wish to include:
1. The impact they’ve made
Explain how the initiative helps people be active, meet others, or improve their physical or mental wellbeing. Give simple, real examples of what they have done and the difference it has made.
2. How it brings people together
Describe how the initiative involves the community in events, sessions, partnerships, or anything that gets people participating and connecting.
3. Real stories that show the difference
Share quotes or short stories from people who have benefited. These help bring the initiative’s positive impact to life.
