Community Connections with the Salem Council on Aging!

Come join the CCE during SSU's community time to build relationships, participate in games and activities, and share laughs with older adults on Mondays in March and April! Dates include Monday March 9th, 23rd, and April 6th, 13th, and 27th. Please select one or more dates that you are interested and available to participate! The shuttle will pick up students at 10:15 am outside of the Marsh bus stop or at 10:20 am outside of Dunks to access transportation and returning around 12:15 pm. Transportation, snacks, and juice provided. If you DO NOT need transportation please meet us at the Salem Council on Aging at 11:00 am.

This opportunity REQUIRES a background check through the City of Salem. Once the background check is complete and approved you can volunteer with us anytime throughout the spring semester. Please set up a time with Kate Adams to complete the background check at kadams2@salemstate.edu.

6.I commit to setting up a time with Kate Adams prior to going to the Council on Aging to have my license or Id scanned for a background check before participating. Please email her at kadams2@salemstate.edu and visit her in Meier Hall 316 A. This background check is required by the City of Salem.
