COMMENTS ON OBJECTIVES OF 2022 STANDARDS |
INTRODUCTION
The Council on Occupational Education is a postsecondary accreditor of institutions that offer career and technical education. The Council is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national institutional accrediting agency for the accreditation of non-degree-granting and applied associate degree-granting postsecondary occupational education institutions.
In an effort to encourage input from potential employers and the general public, this survey has been designed for readers to rate the adequacy and relevancy of the objectives of the standards for accreditation of career and technical education institutions.
This survey is not intended for Advisory Committees.
After reviewing the objectives for each standard, please rank the standard as a whole with a rating of 1 through 5, with 1 being the least adequate or relevant. Text boxes are available after each question so that readers may provide the Council with comments and suggestions.
The results of this survey are reviewed annually by the Council’s Committees on Accreditation Standards and Conditions.
