The Cobb County CDBG Program Office has begun the planning process for its 2026-2030 Consolidated Plan and 2026 Annual Action Plan and Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice. The Consolidated Plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is related to the local receipt of federal funds through the Community Development Block Grant [CDBG] Program. The purpose of this plan is to identify the County's needs related to housing, economic/community development, homeless persons, public facilities, and public services and affordable housing needs.
A key component of this process involves hearing from members of the public on issues of community and housing needs. The questions on the following pages are intended to serve this purpose. Your responses will be kept strictly confidential. We will only report this information in combination with the other survey responses and in summary format to protect your privacy. Please do not place your name or other identifying information anywhere on the survey. Responses will be accepted until Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
You may discontinue your participation at any time without loss of benefits otherwise afforded to you. If you have any questions about the use of survey information, please contact the Cobb County CDBG Program Office located at 192 Anderson Street, Ste. 150, Marietta, GA 30060 or via phone at 770-528-1455 or via email at info@cobbcountycdbg.com.
