Good Afternoon,

CP of NYS is working with the Governor’s office and DOH to assist clinics that serve people with IDD during the coronavirus emergency.

To that end, we need to provide them with some information about how severe the crisis is for our clinics.

Below is a brief survey to determine the depth of our clinics’ fiscal problems and approximately how long clinics will be able to hang on during this crisis.

We know that our clinics – FQHCs, A28s and A16s – provide valuable services to people with I/DD and if the state does not provide some financial relief to the clinics, many will need to close services and even the entire clinic with no assurances that these services will be available once we are beyond this epidemic.

We know you have many pressures on you now, but we believe the future of many of the clinics serving patients with I/DD are at stake.  Please complete the information below by Thursday, March 26 by 12:00 Noon.

Please respond separately for each clinic type you operate (if you don’t operate a clinic type, please put N/A as your response).   We seek your best estimate and we do not need exact numbers – estimates will suffice.

Thanks!
