The Community Resilience Action Network of Erie (CRANE) has been working with community members and municipalities in Erie County on a climate resilience planning process to identify and address climate-related vulnerabilities and risks. Resilience can be defined as strengthening the ability of human and non-human systems to withstand and respond to changes in the earth’s climate.

During this process, several strategies and actions have been identified that could help Erie County build resilience to the effects of climate change. CRANE is now soliciting community input on these strategies to identify and prioritize what the citizens of Erie County feel are the most beneficial options for implementation. This list will help CRANE prioritize upcoming projects and inform longer-term strategic plan efforts.

INSTRUCTIONS:
This survey is a compiled list of 15 potential resilience and adaptation project ideas. Please mark your level of interest in each community project by indicating the project’s importance on a scale of 1-4 with 1 being the highest priority and 4 being the lowest priority. After you have rated the projects according to your interest level, you will be asked to identify the top 3-5 projects that you feel would have the most benefit to your community.

The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
