Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey aimed at making Boston more accessible for persons with disabilities. Our mission is to increase opportunities for people with disabilities by facilitating full and equal participation in all aspects of life within the City of Boston. This includes reducing barriers related to architecture, procedures, attitudes, and communication, as well as promoting equity in housing, education, employment, transportation, and civic activities.

The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. Our goal is to learn what the greatest accessibility-related needs are in Boston so that we can shape the City’s strategic priorities. The survey is divided into three sections that are based on our Commission’s ability to directly affect policy within each area.  Please be assured that any identifying information you provide in your responses will not be shared.

Thank you in advance for your participation in this important initiative! We would be happy to mail you a paper copy of the survey if you prefer, or administer the survey over the phone. Braille copies of the survey can be provided upon request. Please contact our office with any questions, concerns, or feedback at or 617-635-3682 (TTY 617-635-2541).
