September 2019

Dear Tenant,

Circle Voluntary Housing Association has been carrying out tenant surveys every two years since 2011. The findings from these surveys have been published and we have used the information to make changes to how we provide our services to tenants.

The last survey in 2017 pointed to the need for changes in how we carry out our repairs and maintenance and how we communicate with our tenants. As a result of the feedback we have created a new Property Services Team to focus on repairs and maintenance and we have changed the role of our Housing Officers to that of Tenant Services Officers, with more time to deal with direct tenant matters. This has led to a change in how we communicate with our tenants and enabled a greater focus on what is important to you as a tenant.  We have also created an income management team with a specific role in assisting tenants with the upkeep of their rental agreements in order to ensure longevity in their home.

This year we want to understand better how we can improve our services to you. The attached survey has been reduced in size and has more direct questions about what we do and how we do it. Your feedback is important to us as it will help us determine where our resources should be focused over the coming two years.

The survey is independently managed and analysed by MCM Consulting, who will keep all information they receive confidential and will never share any personal or identifying material with Circle VHA. This ensures that that the feedback we get is both anonymous and independent of Circle VHA. We are providing vouchers of €200 to 10 people who complete the survey on time. These will be drawn by MCM, at random. MCM will forward the vouchers to the lucky winners.

Please take the time to complete the survey, have your say and let us know what you think of Circle VHA.  Completed surveys can be returned to MCM in the envelope provided by 2nd October 2019. Thank you for taking the time to complete the questionnaire, and we will be publishing the findings over the coming months.

Yours sincerely,
