Carer Short Breaks |
Why we want to hear from you
For several years, Carers in Bedfordshire have been aware that one of the most pressing concerns of Carers in our community is how difficult it is to take a short break from caring responsibilities. Short breaks, sometimes called ‘respite’, are vital to Carers’ wellbeing, but for them to happen, the person being cared for needs to have somewhere safe, accessible and appealing to go.
Carers in Bedfordshire have taken this election time as an opportunity to gather some important information from Carers themselves to ensure we have access to our Carers’ voice, and we can put together a study that highlights the need for a respite facility.
To go ahead with this study, the charity has partnered with independent consultants from Community Enterprise and this questionnaire is part of this research.
The questions here are anonymous and you can say as much or as little as you like. If you would be interested in discussing your experience and needs, please feel free to reach out to Carers in Bedfordshire and we would welcome your feedback and interest.
