Christ Gathered - Survey on Community at Mother Seton Parish

Our final survey of our Year of Stewardship focuses on Community. This will help us understand how well Mother Seton Parish builds a genuine sense of belonging and encourages parishioners to participate fully in the life and mission of the Church.
Christ consistently brought people together. Through conversation, shared meals, personal encounters, and invitations to follow Him, He showed us the importance of welcoming others, building relationships, and forming a community of disciples. As a parish, we are called to continue this work by creating a community where people are welcomed, valued, connected, and invited to participate.
By gathering feedback, we can evaluate how well we welcome new parishioners, include people in parish life, recognize the gifts and talents of our members, and encourage people of all ages to participate in the parish's life and ministries. This helps us understand not only what opportunities are available, but how effectively we are building relationships and fostering a true sense of belonging.
Just as importantly, the survey will help us assess how well we equip parishioners to reach out and invite others to encounter the Lord and join the believing community. Building community is not simply the responsibility of parish leadership; every parishioner shares in the mission of welcoming others and strengthening the bonds that unite us in Christ.
Ultimately, a strong parish community helps each person recognize that he or she has a place, gifts to share, and a responsibility to participate in the life and mission of the Church.
